One Hour Before Sunrise will terrify you with its savagely realistic portrayal of the inhumanity of a faceless state and the casual brutality of its lackeys. This inspiring new piece of writing from Palestinian poet and writer Ghazi Hussein plots the journey of a young poet named Moneer and his experiences in prison. Here he meets two other characters; one a drug dealer, the other a wiseman. Together the three undertake a profound voyage to the heart of the human condition. Not all survive.
