Edinburgh 11/07/07: Theatre Workshop Edinburgh today announces its Fringe 2007 line-up including the return of Scotland’s only disability arts festival.

Following three previous mould-breaking festivals, Theatre Workshop, supported by the Scottish Arts Council, is proud to present Degenerate4. And Edinburgh’s premier small-scale producing theatre has once again attracted a string of productions from the British Council’s highly regarded international showcase. Top shows from as far afield as the USA, Palestine, Germany and across the UK complete a packed bill.

“Theatre Workshop is known for its groundbreaking approach to disability theatre and has been recognised as Europe’s first fully inclusive producing theatre since 1999. The quality and scope of this year’s Degenerate Festival underlines this commitment to excellence and diversity. However, Festival Fringe 07 at Theatre Workshop offers much more besides: we are delighted to present a broad range of other cutting edge drama including plays from the British Council Edinburgh showcase,” comments Theatre Workshop producer Anne Fleming.
