Synopsis

This piece brings together three stories by Hans Christian Andersen: 'the Emperor's New Clothes', 'The Nightingale' and 'the Ugly Duckling'. Andersen's tales are often dark and strange, and this coupled with the writer's identity as an outsider, a man often ridiculed by the established society around him, attracted the company to his stories.
